Clem has over 40 years of experience helping contractors establish and expand their surety lines of credit. He worked for eight years as an underwriter and Bond Manager for USF&G (now part of Travelers) and Bond Manager at The Hartford, and four years for a full lines insurance agent before he and his wife Pauline founded PCL in 1985.
Clem served as a director for Associated Builders and Contractors-North Texas from 2005-2008. In August 2007, ABC-NT presented him with the “Excellence in Government Award,” recognizing him for his ongoing commitment and efforts on behalf of ABC, its members, and the construction industry in the areas of legislation and political action. He continues to be involved in Government Affairs at TEXO, the DFW area chapter of ABC and AGC.
Prior to earning his business degree from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, he spent part of his military duty in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers working on power generation systems for NATO sites in Europe.
Eric joined PCL as a producer in September 2008 after nine years at Lockheed Martin where he worked on hardware and software for missile, launcher and reconnaissance system for our U.S. military.
Eric graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1999 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. While attending college he met his wife, Melissa, who also works at PCL (see below).
Melissa joined PCL in February of 2013. She is a licensed agent and her top priorities will be business development, association participation, organization of seminars and client appreciation events. She has been married to Eric Lesch since 1999 and together they have two children, Sophia (12) and Evan (9). If you have been to an Attitude Adjustment Party then you may have already met her. When not working you can usually find her on the golf course or with her shotgun shooting clays!
Jennifer rejoined PCL in March of 2013. She serves as the Director of Operations overseeing the Support & Sales Team, Accounting Department, Public Relations and Agency appointments. Jen is a professional surety agent who specializes in the construction industry. She has access and great rapport with a variety of highly-rated bonding companies and industry professionals. She specializes in providing large & small construction contractors with the best bonding program available. Jen performs essential functions to the quality and service standards of PCL. She is the direct support for the Owners and Producers of PCL for any and all underwriting tasks required. Jen strives to relate with customer and provide excellent customer service. She is a Texas licensed agent with over 8 years of experience as a surety agent. Jen was in the Property & Casualty industry for 7 years working on National and International accounts prior to working in the surety industry.
Jennifer a Dallas native is married to Jason a native Californian and has two children, Nathan and Kelsey. Nathan is currently serving in the Air Force and Kelsey is finishing up High School and starting college in the fall of 2017. Jennifer loves to travel anywhere with mountains or beaches!
