New Client Surety Application and Forms
An initial application for bonding will allow us to run credit reports, and will give us a pretty good idea of how much bond credit you qualify for, as well as which surety would best meet your needs.
The application should include:
- Contractor Questionnaire, completed and signed.
- The most recent YEAR-END FINANCIAL STATEMENT, preferably prepared by a CPA according to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Two prior YEAR-END FINANCIAL STATEMENTS, if you’ve been in business long enough.
- Copy of your most recent COMPANY TAX RETURN.
- Personal Financial Statement(s) on the Owner(s) and spouse(s), as of the same date as the most recent company financial statement.
- Year-end or recent financial statements on related companies, if any.
- Resumes of the owners, officers and key personnel.
- Bank Reference. Fill out top of form and send to your banker for completion.
- Copy of a current Certificate of Insurance.
- WORK-IN-PROCESS. If you have the same information on a spreadsheet and/or generated by your accounting software, you may provide that.
